Donal G. Waddell Park features 4 ball fields, concessions, restrooms, ample parking, a picnic shelter, trails and a playground. Access to Waddell Park is off Cottonwood Drive, just east of Federal Blvd.
2020 Master Plan Improvements Description: Improvements currently underway at Waddell Park include drainage improvements, ball field surface improvements, a new irrigation system, conversion of some turf areas to native grasses to conserve water, and a new playground. Work is underway now with an expected finish date of summer 2022. The total budget for the project is $833,000 and the improvements are partially funded with an Adams County Open Space Grant.
