Whether you’re looking to get involved as an individual or on behalf of an organization, the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District has many ways to give back to your community.
Adopt-a-Park Program
Hyland Hills’ Adopt-a-Park program is a great way to make a difference and get outside as a group!
As a Park adoptee, you commit to approximately 2 hours of light park maintenance each month from April through October. After three months of service, the District will install a sign showcasing your group’s name/logo at the park!
Learn more by downloading the Adopt-a-Park Application.
Individual Volunteering
Hyland Hills relies on volunteer coaches for many of our youth sports programs. Anyone ages 16+ can apply! Volunteer coaches must pass a background check and complete training through the National Alliance of Youth Sports (NAYS). Learn more and apply here.
The Hyland Hills Foundation also utilizes volunteers through the Friends of the Foundation group. These volunteers support the Foundation with fundraising and event planning. Learn more here.
If you are interested in volunteering in other ways, please contact Kellie Flowers at kflowers@hylandhills.gov. We’ll see if we have a fit for you!
