This park includes trails and large green spaces.
2020 Master Plan Improvements Description: Hyland Hills is adding a Hillside Play Area to Sherrelwood Park, which will take advantage of the natural slope of the dam embankment to support various play equipment features. A shelter will also be added along with ADA improvements and water wise landscaping. Intrusive vegetation at the bottom of the slope has been removed as part of routine maintenance.
Design has been completed in compliance with the State of Colorado Engineers Office and Adams County Public Works and Engineering, and construction began in July 2023. This project is funded through a partnership between Adams County, Del West Developers, and Hyland Hills.
